Work to Progress on Edina City Lake Project

A swimming area, sand volleyball court, and a walking trail are all planned for the Edina City Lake in the near future. However, while plans are in place for each portion of the project, Edina City Clerk Margaret Gibson says work didn’t progress over the past month.

Gibson details the latest on the swimming area and the walking trail.

A location for the sand volleyball court has been determined, but no work on it has begun. Edina officials are hopeful the project will be completed by next spring.
