Wilson and Tracy Win Races in Randolph County

Aaron Wilson will be the next Sheriff in Randolph County.

Wilson, who defeated Michael Hopper, now has a number of challenges ahead of him, including putting his staff together.

Wilson won every precinct in securing the win. He will replace veteran sheriff Mark Nichols, who decided not to run for reelection.

Republican John Tracy defeated Stephen Barnes to win the race for eastern district commissioner.

Tracy says he will represent all of the people in the eastern district, even if they didn’t vote for him.

Tracy replaces Wayne Wilcox, who also decided not to seek reelection.
