Tyler Clark Hired as New Northwestern Superintendent

The Northwestern R-1 School District in Mendon has named Tyler Clark as its new superintendent. Clark currently serves as Milan’s assistant principal and athletic director. He will replace Eric Hoyt who is departing Northwestern to become Brookfield’s new superintendent. Hoyt explains his role in the hiring of Clark.

Clark has served his positions at Milan for the past four years. Prior to his time there he spent seven years as a teacher in the Jefferson City School District. Hoyt says he’s already in close communication with Clark on the transition process.

Clark also plans to attend Northwestern’s school board meetings in the new year, to familiarize himself with the board, and officially take over as the Superintendent on July 1st.
