Trailblazers Train To Advocate For Beef

Young advocates for the beef industry spent the past week in Orlando at the Cattle Industry Convention taking part in the Beef Trailblazers program, picking up training and guidance on ways to promote the protein.  Macey Hurst of Jefferson City was part of this year’s class and says the program not only promotes beef to consumers, but also industry resources to producers.

Hurst says in conversations she’s had with consumers, most of them are looking for more information to better form their shopping habits when buying meals for their families.

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association developed the Beef Trailblazers program, which launched in 2022 and is funded by the Beef Checkoff.
