Three Seriously Hurt South of Mexico

Three Mexico residents were seriously injured when they were all ejected from a pickup on Highway 54 south of Mexico around 5:55pm Thursday. The State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Jerry Cline tried to change lanes and lost control. The truck slid off the road, struck a ditch, and overturned. Three passengers, 23-year-old Brandon Barger, 23-year-old Jennifer Taylor, and 25-year-old Chelsea Staley were all taken to Columbia. Cline was not hurt.
