Star Experiences In FFA Provide Improvement For Rodgers In The Showring

Payton Rodgers is no stranger to appearing in the top of her field, taking several show animals to the Sale of Champions at the Missouri State Fair. She was back in the spotlight this month as the recipient of this year’s State Star in Placement at the Missouri FFA Convention, recognizing her work and experiences on the family’s diversified livestock operation outside Savannah. She reflects on her time in FFA.

Rodgers says she considers her time in FFA as a benefit to her showring successes, rather than the other way around. She adds that she hopes that she has been an example to other aspiring agriculturalists, including her younger sister.
