Moberly’s Breanne Gibbs Places at USMC Women’s National Championships

Moberly sophomore and two-time wrestling state champion Breanne Gibbs placed eighth at the USMC Women’s National Championships in Spokane, Washington this past weekend. Her dad and Moberly wrestling coach Charlie Gibbs said it was a good experience.
Breanne competed in the U17 69 kg bracket and opposed Skylar Slade of Iowa in the opening round.
She then picked up four straight wins on the backside of the bracket.
Charlie says Breanne’s confidence can improve the most.
Breanne Gibbs will wrestle in the Missouri vs Kansas Rogue Dual Friday night.
Brookfield state champion Devan Parn placed 3rd at the Virginia Beach Nationals.
