Three people were hurt in three different accidents Saturday at the Lake of the Ozarks. A Kirksville man was injured in the morning in an accident involving two personal watercraft. The State Highway Patrol says around 11:40, 28-year-old Tony Miller was jumping wakes and crashed into one operated by 17-year-old Chauncey Potter of Kirksville near mile marker 22 of the main channel. Miller was taken to Osage Beach. Potter was not injured.

A Valley Park man was seriously injured in a personal watercraft accident Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Zachary Strothkamp was jumping a wake when he was thrown airborne and hit his own vessel near the 5.2 mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm around 2:50. He was flown to Columbia.

A Michigan man suffered moderate injuries when his boat hit a large wave at the 2.3 mile marker of the Gravois Arm of around 7:45 Saturday night. 52-year-old Joseph Kenneth of Benton Harbor, Michigan, then hit the cockpit. The boat made an abrupt right turn at hit a dock before hitting the shore. He was taken to Osage Beach for treatment, and booked for boating while intoxicated.
