Suspect Arrested for Deadly Kirksville Shooting

One suspect has been arrested in connection to Thursday’s deadly shooting in the 700 block of West Dodson Street. Kirksville Police with assistance from the U.S. Marshalls, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant Sunday night at a residence in the 600 block of South First Street. They located and arrested 52-year-old Ray Francis Rijos Romero of Kirksville in connection with the shooting that killed two people and injured two others. Romero, a convicted felon, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault, along with several other related charges.

Authorities are still searching for a second suspect identified as Anquan Eugene Glover. He is a black man, 5’11’ tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Glover is believed to be in the Kansas City area and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who locates Glover is asked to immediately contact law enforcement.
