Slater Man Seriously Hurt in Moniteau County Accident

A Slater man was seriously hurt when his car went off the side of Highway 50 west of Tipton around 5:10 Thursday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Edwin Petty’s car then crossed a side road and hit a stop sign. He was taken to Sedalia.
