The search is underway to hire a new Mexico Superintendent after Dr. Zachary Templeton announced his retirement in late November. Templeton outlines the search plans for the Mexico School Board.

Templeton also plans to help in the search as much as possible.

Templeton is serving his third year as Mexico School Superintendent. He had spent the prior five years as Assistant Superintendent. He is retiring at the end of the school year and moving to Tennessee to be with his wife and youngest son. The new superintendent will take over the position in July.
