Schmitt Resigns As Moberly Chamber Director

The Executive Director of the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce and Moberly Community Betterment has resigned. Megan Schmitt has been at the Chamber since December of 2017.

Along with her professional role, Schmitt has also contributed to the Board of Directors for Mark Twain Regional Planning Commission and the group’s Revolving Loan Fund Board, and Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation, along with other organizations. Schmitt held the position of Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri.

Schmitt’s last day will be March 15th. The search for a successor is underway and a transition plan will be announced in the coming weeks.
