Representative McGaugh Discusses Open Enrollment

Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carrollton spent much of her spring break speaking with local medical providers and school superintendents on the current legislative session. McGaugh says one particular issue cropped up during education conversations.

McGaugh explains some of the concerns voiced to her by local districts.

The open enrollment legislation passed in the House by a vote of 85-69 and advanced to the Senate. McGaugh was among the votes against the measure.

The Senate has yet to take any action on the open enrollment bill.
