Regional Radio Earns Two First Place MBA Awards

Regional Radio earned two first place awards and one Certificate of Merit at the 2023 Missouri Broadcasters Association Banquet Saturday night in the Lake of the Ozarks. Colin Schowe earned first place in the breaking news category for his reports and interviews covering last year’s train derailment in Mendon. Brad Boyer won first place in the play-by-play category for his call of Truman football’s overtime win against Tiffin. Schowe received a Certificate of Merit in that category for his call of Atlanta’s La Plata Tournament Championship win against Green City.
