State Facing Broadband Defaults

Representative Louis Riggs says the state is facing a growing number of broadband defaults.

Riggs estimated the state faced about 170 million dollars in defaults, but that was before Charter Communications last week announced it was surrendering locations in three states, including Missouri.

Riggs is part of the FCC Intergovernmental Advisory Committee and says this is something they have to take a hard look at.

Charter also surrendered locations in Michigan and Wisconsin.
