One Dead Following Stabbing in Columbia

One man is dead and another is in custody following a stabbing in the 400 block of North Fifth in Columbia Monday night. Columbia Police responded around 8:20, where they found a man with injuries. They provided medical attention until paramedics arrived, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect was arrested, and police say there is no outstanding threat to the public.
