Norfleet Named Missouri FFA’s Candidate For National Office

Grant Norfleet of Mexico will make his way to Indianapolis a week ahead of time for the 96th National FFA Convention, hoping he’ll be one of the six holding the gavel to close the event as part of the next year’s national officer team.  Norfleet was named Missouri FFA’s candidate for national office, one of 35 candidates for the six-member team.  He was on the state officer team during the 2021-22 school year.  Norfleet also earned national finalist honors in 2020 for his service learning projects, re-establishing Audrain County’s Clover Kid Day Camp and partnering with Ag Education On The Move to teach students at an area preschool about agriculture.  The two-phase interview process begins in late October, ahead of the convention which runs Nov. 1-4.
