Nikodim Concludes Four Decades As Missouri Pork’s Executive Director

Don Nikodim has served as the Missouri Pork Association’s executive director for over half of the group’s existence.  But this week marks the end of his time leading the group, as Nikodim’s retirement takes effect.  Nikodim says he’ll miss the people he’s worked with and represented over 40 years.

Nikodim says during his time with Missouri Pork, he’s seen several pork producers grow from showing at the county fair to assuming top roles in the industry.

Don Nikodim of Missouri Pork became the group’s executive director in December 1983.  He’s succeeded by Scott Hays of Monroe City, who recently completed his term as president of the National Pork Producers Council.

Note: This story previously misidentified Scott Hays as Todd Hays, and was corrected on Apr. 2, 2024. CentralMOInfo.com apologizes for the error.
