Monroe City Hires Director of Operations

During its October meeting, the Monroe City City Council approved the hiring of Blake Rodgers as the city’s Director of Operations. Rodgers is the first person to hold that new position. Mayor Jerry Potterfield details what the role will be.

Rodgers had worked for Monroe City’s Electric Department for the past six years. He was one of ten people who applied for the position.
