Moberly Fire Department Staff Turnover Creating Complications

International Association of Fire Fighters representative Mark Fuller says the Moberly Fire Department’s staff turnover is a concern.
Moberly has replaced 23 firefighters since 2017. The Moberly Fire Department staffs 24 individuals.
Fuller’s presentation to the city council this month stemmed in part from last year’s budget process, when the fire union proposed a salary after it questioned if a chunk of the fire budget was misappropriated. The local and the City of Moberly are in contract negotiations.
