Missouri House Passes Public Safety Bill

The Missouri House of Representatives recently passed a wide-ranging public safety bill. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville explains the need for this bill.

Toalson Reisch adds there are additional provisions in the bill.

One provision not included in the final bill would make it illegal for unattended minors to carry firearms in public. Toalson explains why it was stripped from the final bill.

The provision was originally placed in House Bill 301 by a bipartisan working committee prior to the legislative session.
