Missouri Conservation Areas Offer Variety of Recreational Activities

While many Missourians are focused on the spring turkey season, this time of year also offers the opportunity to take in a variety of recreational activities at local conservation areas. Macon County Conservation Agent Jared Kelly says this includes a variety of nature trails.

Boating is another option in some locations.

Camping opportunities also increase as the weather gets warmer. Kelly says campers need to be mindful of rules and regulations.

Area residents are advised to view each conservation area’s rules and regulations before visiting.
