Luetkemeyer Discusses Speaker Process

The U.S. House of Representatives returns to work this week needing to elect a new Speaker of the House, after voting last week to remove Kevin McCarthy from the role. Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says the Republican caucus will meet first.

He says the Freedom Caucus could cause problems again, that would potentially lead to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries winning the vote.

He accuses the Freedom Caucus of using the situation for selfish interests.

Luetkemeyer was our guest Friday morning on KWIX.
