Kirksville Police Investigate Armed Robbery at South Baltimore Street Gas Station

The Kirksville Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery at 7th Heaven Concoco gas station at 1312 South Baltimore Street about 3:30am Wednesday. Officers arrived and made contact with the clerk who advised a male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied, and the suspect left on foot headed south with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white or light-skinned black male, approximately 5’4″, 130 lbs, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt over a light blue shirt, dark colored face covering, royal blue athletic pants with a black strip down the leg, white athletic shoes, and one black and one bright yellow glove. The suspect displayed what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun. This is the second armed robbery reported in Kirksville this week. There are two male suspects in custody in reference to the robbery reported Sunday at Xpress Mart.
