Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department Hosting Kids Cardboard Boat Race

Area families are encouraged to save those cardboard boxes from Christmas for this year’s Kids Cardboard Boat Race in Kirksville. The race will take place from 2 to 4 on January 21st at the Kirksville Aquatics Center. Children ages five to 16 can sign-up as individuals or teams of up to four people. Kids must construct a boat structure using cardboard, duct tape and water-based paint. The goal is for boats to make it across the pool in the fastest time possible. There is no registration fee.
