Four Shelbina Residents Hurt in Boone County

A Shelbina man was seriously injured and three other people from Shelbina were hurt in an accident on Highway 63 north of Columbia around 7pm Thursday. The State Highway Patrol says 54-year-old William E. Barnes was a passenger in the minivan driven by 28-year-old William M. Barnes. The driver tried to change lanes, and the minivan slid off the road and overturned multiple times. The driver had moderate injuries. 18-year-old Angel Barnes and an eight-year-old girl both had minor injuries. All were taken to Columbia.
