Focus On Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest Opens

The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced the launch of its annual photo contest. The Department is again seeking entries for its Focus On Missouri Agriculture contest, showcasing the unique stories and images of the state’s largest industry. Amateur photographers are encouraged to submit their best images of Missouri Agriculture in each of four categories: Beauty of the Farm, Faces of the Farm, The Farmer’s Life, and Pride of the Farm. A separate category called Children’s Barnyard will judge all entries submitted by photographers aged 12 and under. Winners will have their photos showcased during the Missouri State Fair in August and receive a gift basket of Missouri Grown products during the next Governor’s Conference on Agriculture.

Participants may enter up to three photos in each category. Entries are due June 11th and will appear on the department’s Flickr stream. The submission form, rules, and additional details are available on the Missouri Department of Agriculture website.
