Farm Bureau Health Plan Advances From Committee

The House Agriculture Policy Committee Thursday approved Missouri Farm Bureau’s plan to create a health benefits plan for its members. State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown voted for House Bill 2082. He says similar plans have passed in five other states, and members there are happy with it.

Busick says this plan would cost customers about a third of what other insurance customers pay.

Busick says it might be a close vote on the House floor but thinks it can pass.
