Don’t Look For Jury Trials Before September

While Randolph and Howard County Presiding Judge Scott Hayes says a lot of progress is being made on the backlog of cases caused by the coronavirus, there is still one concern.

Hayes says that is still a ways off.

And once a jury is selected, Hayes says there still needs to be social distancing between them during the trial.

Judge Hayes says they probably won’t even be able to begin thinking about jury trials until at least September.
