Danielle Smoot Named La Plata High School Principal

Danielle Smoot was recently introduced as the new La Plata High School principal for next school year. Smoot has spent the past nine years working in the South Callaway School District. Smoot says she does have a connection to La Plata.

Smoot currently serves as a special services educator at South Callaway. She says she’s worked closely with outgoing La Plata High School Principal Andy Jackson since being hired.

Smoot shares her early focuses as principal.

Smoot is a St. Louis area native and a graduate of Truman State University.
