Local foster care organization, Coyote Hill, was recently named a recipient of more than 255 thousand dollars in tax credits through the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP). Coyote Hill Chief Development Officer Kari Hopkins explains how this came about.

Donations of one thousand dollars or more from businesses or individuals are eligible for a 50 percent tax credit. Hopkins says this money is important for organizations like Coyote Hill.

The tax credit funds will go towards improving the Coyote Hill Equine Program.
