Columbia Police Make Arrest for Downtown Knife Attack

A Columbia man was arrested for a knife attack that happened in downtown Columbia Wednesday night. Columbia Police say around 11:20, officers responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Tenth Street. They found a man who had been attacked, he was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. A suspect 33-year-old Justin Trim was still at the scene, and was arrested for first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
