Child Seriously Injured in Schuyler County Accident

A three-year-old Lancaster boy was flown to Des Moines with serious injuries after being hit by an SUV along Highway 136, two miles east of Lancaster, around 9:30 this morning. The State Highway Patrol says the boy ran into the road and was hit by an SUV driven by 30-year-old Sarah Lawson of Moberly.
