BURGLARIES IN MEXICO

Two suspects were identified in a string of burglaries in Mexico early Tuesday morning. Just before 1:30pm Tuesday, officers with the Mexico Public Safety Department answered a call in the 1300 block of West Monroe, finding the back door of the business had been pried open and damaged. Further investigation revealed two suspects were involved who had also broke into businesses in the 1900 block of North Jefferson and 900 block of East Liberty. A small amount of money, along with some tools, were taken during those incidents. The burglaries are still under investigation.
