A Moberly man was sentenced last week to six months in jail, and credited for time served, last week for a 2017 crash that killed a woman and injured four children. Danny Bowen entered an Alford plea, meaning he believed there was enough evidence that a jury would find him guilty of second degree involuntary manslaughter. Bowen was accused of grabbing the steering wheel of their SUV as Nicole Ashbaker was driving while the two were arguing. The SUV crashed along Route C north of Huntsville, and she was ejected.
