Boonville Man Injured at Howard County Bridge Construction Site

A Boonville man was booked for driving while intoxicated by drugs and careless and imprudent driving for an accident on Route Z in Howard County late Saturday night. The State Highway Patrol says around 11:55, 62-year-old Ronald Jones ignored signs that the road was closed east of County Road 341, and ran into a backhoe that was extended over the road to keep people from crossing the new bridge. He had minor injuries and refused treatment.
