Annual Rodeo Highlights Macon Town and Country Fair

The Macon Rodeo will highlight the final night of the Macon County Town and Country Fair this Saturday. It begins at 7. Rodeo Stock Contractor Josh Phillipe says prep for the show will begin several hours beforehand.
Events include saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, calf roping and bull riding. Phillipe says it attracts a wide variety of contestants.
Phillipe adds the rodeo has developed a strong tradition at the fair.
A concession stand will be available on site. Admission is ten dollars. Kids five and under are free. A free concert by No Apology will follow.
