2019 Was a Very Wet Year

2019 was an extremely wet one in Missouri, with Kirksville leading the way with 64.54 inches of precipitation. In fact, the National Weather Service indicates that Kirksville climbed to 1st place for their wettest year on record with that total of almost 65 inches. Our total at the Moberly Observation Station for 2019 was 49.66 inches of precipitation, including 10.23 inches in May. The average precipitation total is around 41 inches.
