Young Marceline Baseball Program Looking for Improvement in 2024

The Marceline baseball program is entering its fifth season this spring. The Tigers went 5-12 last season and are starting the year with a new head coach in Ryan Collins. He says his assistants have been important in his transition from coaching wrestling to baseball.

Collins put his players through an offseason program that began back in January. He identifies several key players on this year’s roster.

Collins adds the players are hungry to push the program forward.

Collins says there are a couple of strengths that will serve his team well through the season.

The Tigers opened the season Saturday with a 10-4 win over Knox County and a 4-1 loss to Milan. They visit Cameron this (Mon.) evening.
