Woman Hurt in Accident East of New Franklin

A Montgomery City woman was seriously injured in an accident just east of New Franklin overnight. The State Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Krysttin Bartley’s car was hit head on by an SUV driven by 33-year-old Dakota Welborn of Fayette on Route P around 1:05 Friday morning. The patrol says it appeared Welborn’s SUV crossed the center line. Bartley was flown to Columbia. Welborn was not injured.
