Each year, Marceline-based Walsworth awards both four-year and two-year scholarships to the children of the printing company’s team members. The six selected to receive 4-year, $16,000 scholarships include Max Cupp and Shelby Schneider of Marceline High School. Evan Burgener, Cayden Davis and Hannah Paalhar from Marceline High School were each chosen as recipients of 2-year, $5,000 scholarships. This year, Walsworth is awarding $111,000 worth of scholarship money to graduating seniors. Walsworth started its scholarship contest back in 1984. Since then it has awarded 228 scholarships to high school seniors, worth $2.6 million.
