Variety of Activities Highlight Disney Celebration in Marceline
A variety of activities will be held in conjunction with this Saturday’s “Celebrating a Moment in Time” in Marceline. This event will celebrate 100 years of the Walt Disney company and Walt’s childhood in Marceline. Executive Director of the Walt Disney Hometown Museum Kaye Malins says Ripley Park will be the center of the event.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet a couple of important Disney figures.
The events in Ripley Park conclude at 4 pm with the unveiling of a special clock being donated to the museum. All events at the park are free. A ticketed event for a four-course meal at the Disney Family Farm will be held at 7 pm. Malins says the night will appropriately conclude with fireworks.
