Two Truck Drivers Seriously Hurt in Audrain County

Two truck drivers were seriously hurt in an accident on westbound Highway 54, east of Mexico, around 7:20 this morning. The State Highway Patrol says a semi driven by 61-year-old David Lambert of Rockport, Illinois, hit the rear of the truck driven by 58-year-old Larry Peacock as Peacock had stopped to turn left onto Audrain County Road 737. Both men were taken to Columbia.
