Two People Injured in Chariton County Accident

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident along Highway 24 one mile east of Salisbury around 2:25 Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports 57-year-old Loren Miller of Centralia was merging onto the road from the shoulder and pulled into the path of 84-year-old June Arp of Salisbury. Arp suffered moderate injuries and a passenger, 84-year-old Clifford Arp of Salisbury, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Moberly. Miller was not injured.
