Two Hurt in Mexico Accident

Two people were hurt in an accident on Business 54 in Mexico near the north end of the bypass around 10:55 Friday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Donald Mead of Walnut Grove tried to make a left turn in his pickup, and pulled into the path of a car driven by 23-year-old Maverick Knight of Mexico. Knight had moderate injuries and was taken to Columbia. Mead had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
