Mexico Returns to Scholar Bowl State

After finishing third last season, the Mexico scholar bowl team is returning to the Class 5 Scholar Bowl State Championship this Saturday in Columbia. Coach Dale Schenewerk discusses the key players on this year’s team.
The Bulldogs returned to state with a quarterfinal victory over Washington two weeks ago.
Mexico will be joined at state by Priory, Jefferson City and Rockhurst.
Mexico opens play against Priory Saturday at noon. The Bulldogs beat the Ravens in the quarterfinal round last year.
