Truman’s Winningest Softball Coach Will Now Lead The Lindenwood Program

The winningest softball coach at Truman State will now lead a rival Great Lakes Valley Conference program. Erin Brown has been introduced as the next softball coach at Lindenwood University. The Shelby County native spent 13 seasons at the helm of the Bulldogs program amassing 348 wins. Brown’s last season at Truman was 2019 when she departed the program to move with her husband, Brian, who got an administrative job in the Troy-Buchanan School District.

Brown led Truman State to five NCAA Regional appearances, and coached three All-Americans, 12 first-team All-Conference selections, 10 second-team All-Conference honorees, 20 third-team All-Conference recipients, and four conference major award winners. The Bulldogs made an appearance in the GLVC Tournament in every season under Brown.

Brown was also the head softball coach at Westminster from 2004-06.
