Jaylen Jefferson had two rushing touchdowns and 76 yards. Nolan Hair threw touchdown passes to tight ends Matt Hall of Columbia and freshman Chris Kerr and the Bulldogs built a 42-0 lead by halftime. Truman coach Gregg Nesbitt said it was a strong way to bounce back from last week’s loss….

Isaiah Estes of Fayette led the Bulldogs with eight tackles and fellow linebacker Ulysses Ross had three sacks. The ‘Dogs set a program record 10 sacks and three takeaways. Nesbitt was happy his reserves preserved the shutout….

Josh Scheiderer had a 45-yard field goal and moved to 5th place in career scoring (247). William Jewell remains winless. Truman improves to 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the conference. The Bulldogs will host Quincy next Saturday. We will have the broadcast on KRES starting at 11:15am.
