Truman Bulldogs Start A Four-Game Stretch At Home With Maryville

The Truman basketball teams start a four-game stretch at home against Maryville Thursday night at Pershing Arena. The Bulldog men have won four in a row, after knocking off the GLVC’s top team in Indianapolis on Saturday. Coach Jeff Horner looks at the Saints….

The Bulldogs are 3rd in the Point Rating System rankings, which will determine the top eight teams that go to the conference tournament. The ‘Dogs are 8-6 in the GLVC and 11-11 overall. The Saints are 6-8 in the league and 10-10 overall.

The Truman women went from 57 points a week ago to their highest offensive output in over three weeks, in a 79-72 win at Indianpolis on Saturday. Coach Theo Dean says his bench stepped up

The Bulldogs will face former teammate Gracie Stugart. She leads the Saints in assists. Maryville is 4th in the PRS with a record of 10-6 in the GLVC and 13-9 overall. Truman is 3-13 in the conference and 6-16 overall.
