Truman Beats Jewell-Will Face Former Coach in the Finals

For the first time since 2014, the Truman State women will play for the GLVC Tournament championship. Hannah Belanger scored 21 points, Katie Jaseckas chipped in 18, and Ellie Weltha added 16 points with 15 rebounds to help the Bulldogs beat William Jewell 68-52 in the semifinals Saturday afternoon in Springfield.

The Bulldogs led by four early in the third quarter when they went on a 20-4 run.
